    1. Summer (March to May):

Although I visited Jog Falls in the summer season, it’s not really popular for summer tourism but still, it has its own beauty. During these months, the temperature commonly fluctuates between 22 degrees centigrade to 40 degrees centigrade. While the water flow is not that heavy, the calm surrounding, and the number of visitors is much less than that of Iguazu Falls.

    Pros:

This can be seen as more advantageous since there are many fewer tourists which can make Jog Falls beautiful without the problems that come with having many tourists.

The summer sky is very clear and this makes it ideal for taking photos.

    Cons:

The water flow is significantly less, that may not be as impressive as some raging waterfall; that is actually a stream.

Daytime becomes slightly constraining as the sun warms up the weather, on the upside, the warm weather is great for hiking.

    2. Monsoon (June to September):

In this context, it can be stated that without a doubt Jog Falls are best enjoyed during the monsoon season. During the rainy season, the river Sharavathi rises up and the beautiful falls turn into furious and power packed water streams. The surrounding scenery of Jog Falls becomes extremely green and the visualization of Jog Falls is greatly enchanting.

    Pros:

It is the best enjoying season because the falls are at their best in terms of having an impressive and imposing flow. The forests and hills surrounding the place are green and beautiful, where people can go trekking and wander round.

    Cons:

At certain occasions, especially when it is raining, the accessibility of the paths may be limited or they may be slippery, thus one should be very careful. Tourists swarm the area to capture the essence of the falls in as many pictures as possible.

But if you want to experience Jog Falls in its best form you better stand the monsoon climate, it is worth a try.

    3. Post-Monsoon (October to November):

Thus, perhaps the most suitable option to visit Jog Falls for both those seeking strong imprints of the Monsoon and comfortable climate is the ‘Post-monsoon’ season. There is still potential to see plenty of burst movement, and the adjoining country is still green due to the rainfall that has happened in recent days.

    Pros:

The climate is quite pleasant, the average temperatures stay within 20 to 30 degree Celsius. They are still very beautiful and the surrounding area still retains a very colorful and green look.

    Cons:

The visitors are more in number during this season comparatively to the monsoon season but still not to the fullest.

The accommodation prices might also be slightly higher, all because of increased demand.

    4. Winter (December to February):

The atmosphere of Winter is perfect for a visit to Jog Falls. The temperature of these months is lower, fluctuating between 15-25 degree Celsius; thus these are good conditions that allow for touring the region without the heat of summer or the wet season.

The water flow is neither too strong, like during monsoon but is quite decent and is indeed a pleasure to watch.

Few may consider the falls to be smaller as compared to the amount of water it throws up in the monsoon season.

Winter is highly suitable for people with a mild climate and no loud parties; this is the best time to watch Jog Falls.ll as the favorable weather for instance, for some outdoor activities.
