    Itinerary

    Kerela Backpacking itinerary

    DAY 1: KOCHI TO MUNNAR

    • Arrival at Kochi airport by 12:00 PM.

    • Then we start our journey to Munnar

    • Enroute visit Cheeyapara & Valara Waterfalls on the way to Munnar.

    • Reach Munnar and check in to hotel, enjoy some leisure time. You are free to explore.

    • Dinner and Overnight stay in Munnar hotel.

    DAY 2: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING

    • Post breakfast, drive to explore Tea estates.

    • We will visit Rose garden, Photo point, Eco point, Mattu Petty dam and Chennai shooting point

    • Later we will visit KDHP Tea Tasting, Team Museum & Eravikulam National park (This will be open in April).

    • Overnight stay in Munnar hotel.

    DAY 3: MUNNAR TO THEKKADY

    • Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive toward Thekkady

    • Check-in to Thekkady hotel and explore Spice plantation with guide.

    • Later we go to Periyar national park (Safari cost is not included in package).

    • If time allows, You can also enjoy Kadhakali-Kalari show at Kadathanadan Kaalari centre.

    • Overnight stay in Thekkady Hotel.

    DAY 4: THEKKADY TO ALLEPPEY

    • Post breakfast, Drive towards Alleppey also called the ‘Backwater Capital of Kerala.

    • Arriving in this backwater destination, you will be checked-in into an exciting houseboat.

    • Get freshened up and utilise the heart-warming facilities and amenities within your stay.

    • Post this, cruise through the backwater, discover the swaying beauty of the narrow canals, verdant paddy fields, coconut lagoons and coir villages

    • Overnight stay in Alleppey Houseboat.

    DAY 5: ALLEPPEY TO VARKALA

    • Post breakfast, Drive towards Varkala which is one of the most gorgeous beach destinations in God’s Own Country

    • Explore the ultimate beach activities.

    • Spend some time at Virgin beach Papanasam and thereafter visit the Sivagiri Memorial of Late. Sri Narayana Guru and Janardhana Swami Temple.

    • Overnight stay in Varkala hotel.

    DAY 6: VARKALA TO MUNROE ISLAND

    • Post breakfast, proceed to Munroe via boat.

    • Later visit Jatayu earth centre.

    • Come back to hotel, Later explore Varkala

    • Overnight stay in Varkala hotel.

    DAY 7: VARKALA TO TRIVANDRUM

    • Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport

    • Return home with tons of refreshing memories.
